Valga County Vocational Training Centre
Valga County Vocational Training Centre was founded on September 1st, 1999 by joining of Helme Vocational Training School and Valga Vocational Training School into one state owned vocational training centre, which is subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Research of Estonia. The new buildings of Valga County Vocational Training Centre were constructed between 2009 and 2011 and the official inauguration ceremony took place on September 1st, 2011. The attractive schoolhouse and hostel in Valga at the corner of Viljandi and Loode streets make up a modern and pretty campus.
Our mission is to provide people in South-Estonia and North-Latvia with vocational training that meets the demands of the labour market and is competitive on the international level.
Our vision: by the year 2013, Valga County Vocational Training Centre has created
modern study environment conducive to teaching; technical basis ensuring high quality of training; infrastructure enhancing entering the labour market and reorientation according to the needs of the labour market.
